Empty Space

There’s a hole in my heart
Try though I might, nothing fills it
     Food fills my stomach
     Clothes fill my closet
     Fuel fills my car
     Furniture fills my house
     Work fills my days
     Fun fills my weekends
Family and friends fill my life
     God fills my soul
I am fortunate, I am filled
But that hole is empty
And it hurts
It hurts
