That is the conclusion one can draw from The Distinguished [sic] Senator’s condescending treatment of Congresswoman Michelle Bachman.

Specter’s comments came amid a contentious exchange on 1210 AM’s Dom Giordano Show. After Bachmann spoke at length, Specter started to respond and Bachmann interjected. Specter then asked Bachmann to “stop interrupting,” stating, “I didn’t interrupt you.”

“Now, wait a minute, I’ll stop and you can talk,” he said. “I’ll treat you like a lady. Now act like one.”

Specter has always been a boorish lout. But you can bet that he has never admonished a male colleague who interrupted him to “act like a gentleman,” and he never will. With this episode, he has revealed himself to be contemptuous of any woman who dares to challenge his illusion of superiority. What a tool.
